Past Adventures

It was not quite the original plan of the day, or the warmest day out but a parent had recommended it and the kiddos were down so off we went! Mcmenamins in Bothell… a bit of a drive but it was a blast! Pool had a very unique rainforest theme to it which the kids loved. 
 

It was an ultra low tide day and we ventured over to Vashon, taking the Fauntleroy ferry. Hiking the bluffs, finding the ripest blackberries, exploring Rabbs lagoon where we saw hundreds of moon jellies and at surf beach we saw lots of sea creatures but what was the coolest thing was the amount of sand dollars we saw.

A rare adventure, being the drive is long but the kids really enjoyed it. A 2mile (round trip) hike up to the top of a lookout tower, along the trail were lots of  huckleberries to munch on, at the top we got to have a picnic, and enjoy the amazing view!
